Across U-Can Youth Awards endeavours to acknowledge the modest yet inspiring journeys that underlie the development of our future leaders. By shining a spotlight on the frequently untold stories of young individuals who have experienced significant life transformations, contributed to their communities, and embarked on a voyage of self-discovery and cultural identity, these awards celebrate their achievements.

Recognized by the City of Markham, City Mosaic is a one-day multicultural adventure for those who are looking for an out-of-the-ordinary experience. City Mosaic provides an opportunity for youth and young adults to embark on a global journey, getting a taste of every culture in the world without ever having to step foot out of Toronto.

Crafteria has not only served as a platform for talented instructors to share their passion for the arts but has also functioned as a gathering place for those interested in exploring various art forms. It provides an opportunity for art enthusiasts to connect with like-minded individuals, giving ourselves some personal time to unwind, reduce stress, and focus on hands-on crafting, which can have a positive impact on their overall mental well-being.

Across U-hub recognizes the unlimited potential of youth. We believe that a sense of belonging is crucial in supporting youth in becoming meaningful members of the community.

Tic-Tac-Toronto is a program aimed to inspire youth to go beyond their comfort zone and to contribute to the vibrant multicultural society. The events under this category including Shoebox Gift Making, Taste of Culture, Nature Walk… etc.

As many of you are now familiar, the Toronto Waterfront Marathon has become a yearly fundraising event at Across U-hub. The marathoners run or walk to raise money for a mission we all believe in, and together we make visible East Asian youth power in the community.

Across U-hub provides a “youth-led” leadership development model to nurture volunteers through its authentic, experiential leadership training platform.

A 4-day intensive program that consists of physically and mentally challenging activities that help the participating youth to identify their own strengths and weaknesses, raise the awareness of the needs of others and thereby to learn some basic interpersonal and creative skills to help build up one another in a community setting.
