Developing a SENSE OF APPRECIATION towards handicrafts by guiding participants through different design stages
Exploring different areas of HONG KONG CULTURE through the display of artist’s works
Promoting CARVING and CREATIVITY in participants in a relaxing and joyful learning environment
BASIC RUBBER-CARVING TECHNIQUES which challenges participants’ patience and allows them to pay more attention to details
How to develop IDEAS FOR ARTWORKS and bring their vision to life
The PROCESS OF DESIGNING STAMPS which could reflect one’s cultural influences, tell a story, or carve out treasured memories
All materials and tools including: rubber, art carving knives and ink pads

Jason is an active Hong Kong-based artist who is passionate about crafting stamps by hand. Nostalgic scenes in Hong Kong, portraits and animals are all recurring themes in his collection of works. Many of his art pieces have graced the pages of Hong Kong magazines, newspapers and etc. The artist has also made several appearances in TV segments and radio shows. The level of realism in Jason’s work has impressed many and attracted hundreds of students to attend his stamp carving workshops in Hong Kong. It is his goal to teach students how to appreciate Hong Kong‘s past while learning how to make unique stamps with their hands.
