Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race

As many of you have heard, the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon has become a staple annual event at Across U-hub.

In the past three years, we successfully raised over $60,000 to provide opportunities for East Asian youth to develop Leadership Qualities, build their confidence and pursue their Dreams. Across U-hub’s participants become encouraged and strengthened by each other’s determination and resiliency during their 5-month marathon training.

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 2020 will take place from October 1st – 31st, so you have the flexibility of choosing a date and time that works for you. Please visit FAQ for more details.

Note: When filling out the registration form, please choose Across U-hub under “I’d like to create a new fundraising team or relay team” or “I’d like to join an existing fundraising team or relay team” if you want to fundraise for Across U-hub and/or planning to apply for fundraising incentives.

The event has ended successfully on October 30th, 2020. With your support, we are able to continue working with East Asian youths, in developing their leadership qualities, building their confidence, and encouraging them to pursue their dreams.

When?

The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Virtual Race will take place from October 1st – 31st, so you have the flexibility of choosing a date and time that works for you.

You can do the full distance at once or break it into smaller increments over several days. Once complete, visit the results page to upload your race time (result page will be live from October 1st – 31st).

Where?

Anywhere! A virtual race is completed at a time and place of your choosing.

The registration fee can be reimbersed when you join as an Across U-hub runner and has fundraised $600 or more ($200 or more for full-time students and $1200 for a Marathon Relay Team)

Why Should You Join?

To Get healthy

Training for the marathon will increase your endurance and stamina. Your heart will be stronger; your will have better blood circulation and your muscles will feel strengthened and energetic. You will also feel more upbeat and cheerful.

While running a marathon for its own sake is an extremely satisfying experience, you are also giving yourself and other East Asian youth the opportunity to develop leadership qualities and uncover their potentials through fundraising for Across U-hub.
