Neighbour In Need: Lunch Preparation / Cookies Making

City Warmer is a series of volunteer programs focusing on community service and supporting underprivileged individuals. This initiative provides participants with a meaningful, hands-on experience, fostering empathy and compassion through direct action.

Actions speak louder than words.
This program addresses food insecurity and supports unhoused individuals by offering participants a chance to learn, reflect, and take meaningful action.

Join us in preparing sandwiches and baked goods that will be delivered to individuals experiencing homelessness in Scarborough or downtown Toronto through Ve’ahavta’s outreach vans.

Together, let’s make a tangible difference — one meal at a time.

As of July 30, 2026, our community came together to pack over 360 sandwiches and 1,500 cookies — and we are just getting started!
