Learn To Camp 101
This summer, join Across U-hub for a Learn-To-Camp overnight front country tent camping experience and immerse yourself in Canada’s beautiful nature with a long sandy beach on Lake Ontario.
During this three-day-two-night guided camping trip, held at one of Ontario’s popular campgrounds in Bowmanville, you’ll learn essential camping skills such as setting up a tent, building a campfire, and cooking outdoors.
The campsites are in well-established full-service campgrounds that offer washroom facilities, hot showers, safe drinking water, a park store and more.
Discover how easy and enjoyable camping can be as you embrace nature together and engage in outdoor activities such as hiking, star-glazing, making campfire s’mores, and more!
Objectives
- Equip participants with important basic camping skills and an understanding of the equipment needed for a camping trip.
- Strengthen our connection to the natural environment through a simple living style experience at the beautiful Darlington Provincial Park.
- Foster strong friendships among participants through bonding experiences during camping.
