Earth Week Community Cleanup 2025

Since 2010, Across U-hub has been dedicated to raising environmental awareness through our Tomorrow Starts Today programs. These initiatives include various stewardship activities designed to educate youth on becoming socially responsible citizens. Our past efforts include tree planting, neighbourhood cleanups, invasive species removal, cooking zero-waste meals, educational hiking trips, and more.

The name Tomorrow Starts Today reflects our belief that the future of our planet is shaped by our actions today. With our vision set on a greener future, every action we take now helps build a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.

Actions speak louder than words.

This spring and summer, take action for a cleaner planet! Our first cleanup kicks off on Earth Day, April 22, a global event dedicated to environmental protection. The official theme for 2025 is Our Power, Our Planet.

What is Earth Day?

Earth Day is an annual celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of the environmental movement and emphasizes the importance of safeguarding Earth’s natural resources for future generations. Initially observed on April 22, 1970, it has evolved into a global event coordinated by Earthday.org (formerly Earth Day Network), engaging over 1 billion people across more than 193 countries.

  • Clean up our streets, parks, and playgrounds together

What will the workshop include?

  • Interactive Activities – Participate in group discussions and hands-on exercises to raise environmental awareness.
  • Community Cleanup – Help clean up streets, parks, and playgrounds to make a real impact.
