Neighbour In Need:
Collection Drive x Cookies & Muffins
Since Fall 2022, Across U-hub has introduced the “City Warmer: Neighbour In Need” program series, focusing on community service and supporting underprivileged individuals through hands-on leadership training.
Actions speak louder than words!
Across U-hub is hosting a collection drive for homemade or store-bought cookies and muffins to support unhoused Torontonians. All donations will be distributed by Ve’ahavta, a Jewish humanitarian organization, through their outreach vans. The demand is huge – nearly 500 baked goods are needed each night! Let’s come together to make a difference! Your small act of kindness can bring warmth and hope to those in need.

Where will your cookies and muffins go?
Ve’ahavta’s Mobile Jewish Response to Homelessness (MJRH) outreach vans distribute hundreds of hot meals, baked goods, sandwiches, and salads every night to individuals in need at downtown Toronto, Scarborough, and North York.
Objectives
- Collect 1,000+ cookies and muffins to help meet the nightly demand
