What is City Mosaic?

City Mosaic, a program recognized by the City of Markham, is a MULTICULTURAL ADVENTURE for those who are looking for an OUT-OF-THE-ORDINARY experience. City Mosaic provides an opportunity for youth and young adults to embark on a GLOBAL JOURNEY, getting a TASTE OF EVERY CULTURE without ever having to step foot out of their own neighbourhood.

City Mosaic 2024: Stories in the City (II)

Every individual and place has a story to tell.

Come join us in this year’s City Mosaic: Stories in the City — experience each at a time a guided cultural exploration of a neighbourhood in Toronto in a series of day trips. For our second part of City Mosaic in this summer, we will be visiting the Riverdale and Cabbagetown neighbourhood.

We invite you to spend an August Saturday with dozens of youth and young adults exploring the charm and vibrancy of Toronto’s Cabbagetown and Riverdale neighborhoods. Discover the delights of Riverdale Farm, visit the historic Necropolis Cemetery, savor the flavors of East Chinatown, and enjoy a stunning sunset at Riverdale Park East.
