What is City Mosaic?
City Mosaic is an urban adventure for those looking for an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Throughout the month of July, City Mosaic takes you on a real-world guided expedition across GTA via an app on your smartphone. You can safely explore, connect, and enjoy your community outdoors by yourself, or with members of your household (or one other household if you live alone).
During the pandemic, many may be feeling the stress from staying at home, being in front of the computer, being isolated and feeling uncertain about the future. Through City Mosaic, we hope to bring you a fun and safe activity through which you can connect online with your friends in the midst of coping with all the challenges that the pandemic has brought.
Explore the neighbourhood while maintaining proper safety measures and following the Provincial COVID-19 Public Health Guidelines.
City Mosaic Awards
This year the awards are all about having fun and sharing your City Mosaic experience with your friends and families online and show off your creative abilities by connecting with your community on social media.
- Do It for The Gram Award: Share all the adventures that you are going on with your friends! Post a picture of you having fun on City Mosaic 2021 with the hashtag #citymosaic2021 #acrossuhub on instagram. We will select a weekly winner whose pictures have the most likes.
- Master Sculptor Award: Creativity is the name of the game! In every bound there is a mission that requires you to create a sculpture that relates to something that you have experienced in the bound. Post a picture of your sculpture with the hashtag #citymosaic2021 #acrossuhub on instagram. Our panel of judges will select a winner of the most creative sculpture and you will be crowned the master sculptor. Remember- use what you have and be creative!
- Going Viral on Instagram Award: Ready, set, action! Throughout the game, there are multiple missions that will ask you to take a video. Share this video on instagram with the hashtag #citymosaic2021 #acrossuhub, and our panel of judges will select the best video for a weekly winner.
- Globe Trotter Award: This is for the explorer at heart! The winner of this award will be the person who finishes all the bounds first with all questions attempted and missions completed.

- All pictures on Instagram MUST have hashtag #acrossuhub #citymosaic2021. Follow @Acrossuhub and make sure Across account is following your account so we can see your post.
- By entering your photo/video into this contest, you grant permission and give consent to Across U-hub for the use of the following photographs/videos for presentation under any legal use.
- Weekly award contest will be close on every Sundays (July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st) at 5:00 pm (EST). Weekly winners will be announced on the Wednesday after the contest closes and announced on Across U-hub social media. Other award winners will be announced at the closing ceremony. Prize packs for all the awards will be distributed after the game closes.
- Each participant shall be eligible to win only one time for each award. After the winner(s) is being chosen for the week, any remaining entries will not be carried over for entry in the next week.
